Throughout Indonesia, the West Kalimantan region is well-known as one of the areas where Kratom trees grow to astronomical heights. It can take years for these trees to produce the large, lush leaves they’re known for. But when they do, Kratom farmers spring into action and harvest the leaves for the powerful plant alkaloids they contain. This is the genesis of our coveted White Bali Kratom, a specialty strain now available in capsule form. The post-harvest processing required to make this strain starts by crushing the Kratom leaves into a coarse powder in preparation for outdoor drying. Then, the plant matter is given four days of direct sunlight, a step that gives this strain a whitish hue. After this treatment is complete, the Kratom powder is safely packaged for export to our distribution center here in the US.
